3 Great Dishes You Can Prepare Under Half an Hour

Stuffed Roasted Turkey

This is one dish that you would have to taste right after you take it out of the oven. The preparation takes about a quarter of an hour and is very easy to prepare. This can serve about eight people who are actually more than enough on such short notice.



  • Whole turkey
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • Two tablespoons of dried oregano
  • The juice of one lemon
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • ½ cup marinated artichoke hearts – with marinade
  • ½ cup fresh parsley One jalapeno – without seeds
  • ¾ cup seasoned breadcrumbs¼ cup grated Romano cheese
  • Four cloves garlic
  • Two tablespoons honey


You will clean the turkey with salt after preheating the turkey at 375 degrees. This follows with putting the dry turkey and rubbing it down with a lemon wedge.

You then separate the skin of turkey from the body so that you get the chance to push the stuffing under the skin all around the turkey.

You then combine all the ingredients and rub them in a small dish while having the olive oil set aside. You then combine all the ingredients in a food processor. This then follows with stuffing the mixture under the skin of the turkey and all around it.

Rub the olive oil all over the turkey skin and then place the turkey into the baking pan. Make a tent for the turkey using a tin foil and place it over the turkey and then bake.


Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

This is a dish that can serve up to six people, therefore, every helpful for fast dishes. The time taken to prepare it makes it ideal for people who visit on short notice.



  • 8 ounce(s) whole-wheat fusilli or rotini
  • 1 tablespoon(s) canola oil
  • 2 slice(s) bacon, chopped
  • 1 big sweet onion, halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 pound(s) boneless, skinless chicken breast, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 clove(s) garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoon(s) Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) freshly ground pepper
  • 1/3 cup(s) reduced-fat sour cream
  • 1/2 cup(s) sliced scallions for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon(s) all-purpose flour
  • 1 can(s) (28-ounce) crushed tomatoes


Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta until it is tender. This should take roughly 8-10 minutes depending on the package directions. Then drain it.

In the meantime, keep heating the oil in a Dutch oven and this should be done over medium heat. Occasionally stir after adding bacon and onion while cooking. Do this until it starts to turn brown.

Add chicken garlic, bell pepper, Cajun seasoning and pepper. Then cook and keep stirring until the onions and the bell pepper soften. You then stir to coat while adding flour. Add in tomatoes and their juice then let to simmer.

You then stir until the sauce is bubbling and the chicken is cooked through and then remove from the heat in about 2 minutes. The stir bin sour cream.


Pan-Seared Chicken with Shallot and Carrots

This is a meal that you can make ready in just 25 minutes and look delicious. The ingredients that are required include:



  • 2 Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • Coarse salt
  • Ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon(s) all-purpose flour
  • 1 shallot, halved and thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)


You season the chicken with salt and pepper and sprinkle both of the sides with flour. You then place the chicken and skin side down. You do this in skillet and then cook it without turning. This you are supposed to do until the skin is browned which takes 8-10 minutes.

You will then turn the chicken over and then push it to one side of skillet. To the other side of skillet, you add carrots and shallots seasoned with salt and pepper. This is when you cook while occasionally tossing the vegetables.

This is supposed to continue until the chicken is opaque and the vegetables become tender. Then you transfer to a plate, and it is ready for eating.
