Choose Your Food Carefully

Some foods have naturally unpleasant smells and cause bad breath whenever they are eaten. Examples of such foods are raw onions and garlic.


You should try to avoid such foods or brush your teeth immediately after you eat any of them. Fortunately, the bad breath that is caused by such foods usually fades off on its own after a while.


Eat Hard Cheese

A dry mouth is very likely to be filled with bad breath, and you need your mouth to produce a lot of saliva to counter this problem effectively. Eating hard cheese encourages the production of more saliva in the mouth.



Treat Mouth Diseases

Bad breath usually accompanies some mouth diseases such as gingivitis, and the only way to deal with this kind of bad breath is by treating the disease that is causing it.
